Amazon Customer Service (CS) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Contact Handling Experience (CHEX) team. This role is crucial in developing products that support Amazon's Customer Service Associates (CSAs) in delivering exceptional customer service. The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies like GraphQL, Java, Spring, and AWS to create innovative customer experience solutions.

The role focuses on building and improving comprehensive customer engagement services, working alongside experienced engineers to enhance technology, design new customer-facing products, and implement metrics-driven quality assurance. You'll be responsible for developing solutions that help anticipate and resolve customer questions using Amazon's CRM system.

The CHEX team specifically develops products that enable CSAs to provide Earth's most customer-centric service. The team emphasizes creating effortless solutions for handling customer contacts while generating insights to enhance every customer interaction. Requirements For SDE, Amazon CS (Level 5), CHEX

Java
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control management
  • Experience with build processes, testing, and operations
