SDE- Android, Amazon Key

Amazon Key, our patented building access technology, supports Amazon Last Mile in the US, with international expansion plans. We are seeking a motivated and multi-talented engineer passionate about technological and business innovation to join our team. You will be part of an inter-disciplinary team developing cutting-edge technologies in IoT, wireless, and cloud computing for Ring customers, package transportation, logistics, and delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop Android mobile applications for customer access to access-control devices
• Build solutions for 3P partners to install and configure IoT-enabled devices
• Work with product and UX teams to solve customer problems
• Investigate design approaches and prototype new technologies
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
• Design secure and reliable features for real-time data, video, and audio solutions
• Utilize modern Android development design patterns
• Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations, and processes
• Participate in hiring and developing the team
