This role is at the forefront of solving complex logistics challenges, working on sophisticated routing problems that impact the delivery of millions of packages daily. The position involves creating optimal route plans while balancing various competing objectives in parcel delivery strategies.

The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge optimization algorithms and routing systems, while collaborating with research scientists and senior engineers in a fast-paced environment. You'll be part of the Routing Platform team, which focuses on building reusable components, managing optimization algorithms for Vehicle Routing Problems, handling route lifecycle management, and developing core routing frameworks.

You'll be involved in building systems that handle thousands of drivers and millions of package deliveries, requiring expertise in distributed systems and scalable architecture.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers passionate about solving complex problems at scale while making a direct impact on Amazon's delivery capabilities.
