Responsibilities For Security Assurance Engineer II, Kuiper Security
- Collaborate with product teams to develop new features and mechanisms with an eye on security
- Influence decision-makers and stakeholders to achieve a consistently high security bar
- Assess and contextualize security risk across Kuiper's technology, services and applications
- Develop, interpret, and implement security policies and procedures
- Provide guidance on supply chain security practices
- Drive best security practices through the Kuiper supply chain
- Participate in setting vision and objectives for team's work
Requirements For Security Assurance Engineer II, Kuiper Security
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication, software development, cryptography, or network security
- Knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Ability to engage autonomously with product owners to resolve security problems
