Security Engineer, AWS Cloud Security Response

AWS Cloud Response Team is seeking a Security Engineer to join their critical security operations. This role focuses on protecting AWS Cloud services and customers through incident response and security enhancement initiatives. As part of the AWS Security Operations, you'll work with both internal and external stakeholders to address security challenges at massive scale.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud security technologies while developing and implementing automated solutions for security challenges. You'll be part of a global team operating in a follow-the-sun model across four geographical locations, ensuring 24/7 security coverage for AWS services.

Key responsibilities include triaging security issues, coordinating responses across multiple teams, and driving continuous improvement in security processes. You'll communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including the AWS CISO, and participate in on-call rotations to support global security operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in security operations, system security, and programming with excellent communication and leadership skills.
