Security Engineer, AWS Cloud Security Response

Security is paramount at AWS, where the Cloud Response Team takes charge of protecting AWS Cloud services from the AWS side of the Shared Responsibility Model. This Security Engineer role focuses on Incident Response, requiring both tactical and strategic thinking to address security challenges at scale.

The position involves working with internal and external stakeholders to manage security incidents and implement automated solutions. Key responsibilities include triaging security issues, communicating with various audiences up to the CISO level, and driving security improvements across Amazon.

The Cloud Response team operates on a follow-the-sun model across four geographical locations, ensuring 24/7 coverage. You'll be part of AWS Security Operations, managing security issues from identification to resolution.
