Responsibilities For Security Engineer, AWS Security
- Build and manage services that detect and automate mitigation of cybersecurity threats
- Work with data scientists, software development engineers, and security engineers
- Develop innovative security solutions
- Protect AWS cloud for all customers
- Operate and improve industry-leading security programs and processes
- Manage security programs for personnel security, physical and logical accreditations
- Handle education, awareness and training, assurance, and cyber security
Requirements For Security Engineer, AWS Security
- Degree or Equivalent experience in a technical field
- Experience performing security investigations, penetration testing and/or incident response in large organisations
- Understanding of security threats and experience defending from cyber attacks
- Experience with big data analytics and orchestration
- Ability to develop code with modern languages (Java, Go, TypeScript, Python, Rust)
- Understanding of the Mitre ATT&CK framework (preferred)
- Knowledge of host and network telemetry data (preferred)
- Experience with data science and big data analytics technology stack (preferred)
