Responsibilities For Security Engineer, AWS Security Operations Center (SOC), AWS SOC Cloud Operations
- Coordinate and facilitate security response activities for AWS products and services
- Drive Tier 1 and Tier 2 related issues to resolution
- Work with service teams and senior AWS Security Engineers
- Support AWS Security Engineers and Technical Program Managers with security operations
- Handle incident response activities
Requirements For Security Engineer, AWS Security Operations Center (SOC), AWS SOC Cloud Operations
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 3+ years' equivalent technology experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience on a Security Operations team
- Experience coordinating responses to security incidents
- 1+ year knowledge of web protocols, common attacks, and in-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and architecture
