Security Engineer - Hardware, Firmware, Virtualization, Secure Hardware And Foundational Technologies Team

As part of the Secure Hardware and Foundational Technologies group, you'll help secure Amazon's new products and emerging technologies. This senior role focuses on securing foundational platforms including OS kernels, virtualization, device emulation, firmware, and hardware.

You'll conduct security reviews, threat modeling, develop security detection tools, and perform hands-on security evaluations. The role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise networking, hardware-rooted security, OS hardening, and cloud infrastructure. You'll work with diverse engineering teams, provide clear technical guidance, and shape the future of cloud computing security.
