Security Engineer - Hardware, Firmware, Virtualization, Secure Hardware And Foundational Technologies Team

As part of the Secure Hardware and Foundational Technologies group, you'll help secure Amazon's foundational platforms including OS kernels, virtualization, device emulation, firmware, and hardware. This role combines deep technical expertise with practical security engineering, focusing on enterprise networking, hardware-rooted security, operating system hardening, and cloud-scale administrative infrastructure.

You'll conduct security reviews, perform threat modeling, develop security detection tools, and carry out hands-on security evaluations.
