Responsibilities For Security Engineer II, Amazon Security, Vulnerability Management and Remediation Operations

  • Analyse public and private vulnerability disclosures and exploit code
  • Assess technical details and potential impact of vulnerabilities across Amazon's infrastructure
  • Investigate and triage vulnerabilities, identifying severity and scope of potential impact
  • Support response and remediation efforts
  • Engineer high quality, scalable, and accurate vulnerability detection mechanisms
  • Design and implement automation, tools and workflows
  • Participate in periodic on-call responsibilities

Requirements For Security Engineer II, Amazon Security, Vulnerability Management and Remediation Operations

  • 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
