As a Security Engineer II in the Infrastructure Compliance Team, you'll work on detecting, assessing, and mitigating risks across the global infrastructure while ensuring compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, ISO, and AWS standards.
The role combines technical expertise in networking, supply chain security, and data center compliance with leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities For Security Engineer II, Infrastructure Security Compliance
- Develop, assess, and analyze security outcomes for AWS Infrastructure
- Act as subject matter expert on regulatory, compliance, and legal implications
- Identify and drive mitigation of security risks through assessment activities
- Lead compliance-related discussions with stakeholders and customers
- Assist technical teams in resolving security issues
- Lead in identification and application of remediation techniques
Requirements For Security Engineer II, Infrastructure Security Compliance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication, software development, cryptography, or network security
- Strong understanding of core internet and networking technologies
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
