Responsibilities For Security Engineer II, Third Party Security
- Independently solving security problems requiring novel approaches
- Developing security architecture and design guidance
- Leading security projects with end-to-end ownership
- Developing prototypes of security automation tools
- Creating and maintaining threat models
- Acting as technical subject matter expert on security reviews
- Collecting/reviewing data for security decisions
- Communicating security findings to senior leadership
- Serving as security advisor for business teams
- Managing security risks of third parties and third party products
Requirements For Security Engineer II, Third Party Security
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant Information Security experience
- 3+ years experience in at least two: threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, and network security
- Intermediate knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, application security
- Ability to communicate technical issues in terms of business risk
