Amazon's Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) is seeking a Security Engineer to join their innovative Information Security team. This role involves responding to security events, conducting threat analysis, and safeguarding sensitive data across Amazon's vast e-commerce platform. The position requires expertise in forensics, malware analysis, network security, and threat intelligence.

  • Responding to security incidents and coordinating response across multiple teams

Requirements For Security Engineer, Incident Response

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Security
  • 5+ years of experience with incident response
  • Experience with common security monitoring, log analysis and forensic tools
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Ability to perform DFIR and provide incident command at all stages
