Security Engineer, Payments Security

Amazon's Payments Security team is seeking a Security Engineer to protect critical payment systems that process millions of transactions daily across dozens of countries. This role is part of Amazon's Stores Security organization, responsible for safeguarding Amazon's global information assets.

As a Security Engineer, you will:

• Own end-to-end security for payment systems processing billions in transactions annually
• Perform security reviews including threat modeling, secure design, and code reviews
• Develop and maintain security automation and secure-by-default solutions
• Partner with global Payments business units to implement full-stack security
• Lead security initiatives and participate in on-call rotation
• Identify and mitigate security gaps in applications and services
• Create security documentation and metrics for stakeholders

Base salary ranges from $136,000 to $212,800 depending on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
