Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to join their global engineering team focused on developing next-generation security systems for AWS data centers. As a Security Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting comprehensive security systems, including IP surveillance cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems. You'll work with data center architectural and engineering teams to ensure security best practices are implemented, draft new systems into build plans, and coordinate with regional and local physical security leaders.
The position involves working with highly motivated experts in the data center industry, driving multiple projects including security systems deployments and retrofitting legacy equipment. You'll participate in R&D of new technologies, write technical documentation, and serve as a subject matter expert in security systems engineering.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
