Seed Engineer Program - Software Development Engineer Intern

The Amazon Devices and Services Asia Seed Engineer program is an 8 to 12-week summer camp internship experience for upcoming 3rd year college students (in a 4-year study) and upcoming 2nd year master students (in a 3-year study) with a target graduation date in 2027. The program combines immersive Amazon culture, technical courses, hackathon, professional skills training, and practical project experience.

As a Software Development Engineer intern, you will:

• Be matched with a manager and mentor
• Work on mission-critical projects that matter to customers
• Contribute to solving complex technical challenges in areas such as distributed systems, data mining, automation, optimization, scalability, and security
• Engage with Amazonians for personal and professional development
• Expand your network and participate in activities with other interns

Key responsibilities include:

• Learning Amazon's software development process
• Designing and coding solutions for broadly defined problems under technical mentor guidance
• Working on a specific project assigned by the business team
• Attending technical training and participating in mini-hackathon programs

The internship runs from June 2nd, 2024 to August 29th, 2024, and is located in New Taipei. Interns are expected to work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a maximum of 12 weeks.
