This role is crucial in building and delivering next-generation cloud computing security for major AWS services like S3, EC2, and CloudFront. The position focuses on developing massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management, federation, web services security, and single sign-on solutions.

The ideal candidate will join a dynamic environment where they'll be instrumental in deploying, operating, and scaling critical AWS infrastructure. They maintain a culture of inclusion through various employee-led initiatives and affinity groups, including Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon conferences.

The role combines technical expertise with security specialization, requiring strong Linux systems administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills. You'll be working with some of the largest and most complex distributed systems globally, helping organizations innovate faster and operate more cost-effectively through AWS's cloud services.
