Responsibilities For Senior Applied Scientist, Computer Vision, AWS Infrastructure Service
- Architect, design, and implement Machine Learning (ML) models for Computer Vision systems
- Optimize, deploy, and support at scale ML models on the edge
- Influence team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap
- Work with stakeholders across science and operations teams
- Maintain high standards through reviews and designing for fault tolerance
- Prototype and test concepts with simulation and live robotic equipment
- Work directly with customers and partners
- Mentor other engineer team members
Requirements For Senior Applied Scientist, Computer Vision, AWS Infrastructure Service
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
