Responsibilities For Senior Applied Scientist, NOSO Science
- Build state-of-the art Stochastic Optimization and Probabilistic Forecasting algorithms
- Design and engineer algorithms using Cloud-based software development techniques
- Develop long term solutions while delivering incremental improvements
- Prototype fast and ensure early adoption via pilots
- Operationalize science solutions by partnering with internal customers
- Lead complex analysis and communicate results to leadership
- Research and publish OR/ML techniques internally/externally
Requirements For Senior Applied Scientist, NOSO Science
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- 2+ years experience with Stochastic Optimization techniques
- Sharp analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fast-paced environment
