Responsibilities For Senior Battery Systems Engineer, Ring

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of battery systems and sub-systems
  • Decompose system and sub-system requirements to the component level
  • Develop and support verification, validation, and integration strategies
  • Conduct system and design reviews, failure mode and effects analysis
  • Review technical drawings and production documentation
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Provide support to assembly and testing teams during production
  • Lead technically-focused meetings

Requirements For Senior Battery Systems Engineer, Ring

  • Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
  • 5+ years of circuit design experience for rechargeable battery powered devices
  • Masters degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with battery technology development
  • Experience with testing and qualifying battery packs
  • Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis
  • Experience mentoring, leading, or managing junior engineers
  • Proficiency in writing technical documents, project plans, and progress reports
