Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with multiple teams across various functional areas and geographies (EU, JP, UK) to extract business requirements and propose strategic and tactical levers for developing the B2B marketplace.
- Analyzing and solving business problems at their root, understanding the broader context.
- Identifying, developing, managing, and executing analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and presenting written business recommendations.
- Developing end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision-making for key stakeholders in the EU and worldwide.
- Training business stakeholders to use BI tools and become autonomous in data analysis.
- Researching and implementing novel approaches to enhance existing technical and business processes to improve customer and stakeholder experience.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python).
- Experience with information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
- Experience with data visualization using tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
Preferred qualifications include experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership, and experience with Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop, etc.
