We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer for Marketing Analytics/Customer Behavior to join the finance team working with the Japan Prime & Marketing (JPM) organization.
In this role, the Business Intelligence Engineer will drive development of reporting and uncover key insights on customer behavior and engagement in order to inform the marketing strategy for Amazon Japan. We use the latest data tools and advanced analytical techniques to understand customer flow and engagement behaviors and decide where, when and how we provide products and programs to our customers to meet their needs.

Key job responsibilities:
A day in the life: One of the examples would be to deep dive into key input metrics and/or factors that explain financial output and/or increase in number of new customers.
About the team: In this role, you will be part of Retail Finance team and partner closely with Prime & Marketing teams and teams that have large impact on customer engagement (e.g. Pricing, Selection).
