Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, WW Ops Finance S&A

WW Ops Finance S&A team is seeking an experienced Senior BI Engineer with excellent ETL skills and analytical abilities. You'll be part of a team driving business intelligence strategies for one of the largest supply chains in the world, helping improve delivery experience for billions of Amazon customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interacting with business customers, gathering requirements, and delivering accurate, scalable BI solutions using AWS, Quicksight/Quicksight Q, Python/R, and other Amazon proprietary BI tools.
• Building ETL, data pipeline jobs, aggregations, and automated delivery using SQL, Python/R, and shell scripting.
• Designing data models on varied database platforms like Redshift, MySQL, or object-based data stores.
• Adopting best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.
• Applying deep analytical and BI skills to extract meaningful insights from large, complex datasets.

You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, data scientists, and finance leaders to build next-gen analytics and data-driven reporting. You'll help scale the supply chain cost allocation/analytics across North America and Europe, design and implement new cost allocation strategies, assess the impact of new program rollouts, and build operational and anomaly detection reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You should be a fast learner, analytical in decision-making, and able to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
