Senior Data Center Colocation Regional Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Senior Data Center Colocation Regional Engineer, you will drive Mechanical/Electrical Engineering services, construction and implementation of enterprise data centers globally. You'll work with Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams regionally and globally, leading projects to fit out data centers to meet evolving customer needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing designs for new Data Centers with colo vendors
• Acting as resident engineer during construction projects
• Troubleshooting and conducting Root Cause Analysis for site/equipment failures
• Supporting operational issues and providing technical support for data center upgrades
• Interfacing with various teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability
• Leading engineering site audits and producing risk reports with recommended mitigations
• Developing solutions and executing plans on complex projects
