Responsibilities For Senior Electrical Engineer, Amazon Robotics

  • Working with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production
  • Leading and supporting a technical team on multiple projects in parallel
  • Coordinate all activities within the engineering discipline for the project
  • Writing and developing functional specifications, design verification plans and test procedures
  • Architecting, designing and implementing complex embedded system, analog and digital circuit design
  • Supporting product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
  • Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems

Requirements For Senior Electrical Engineer, Amazon Robotics

Linux
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical, firmware and system level design
  • Expert in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability
  • Experience designing complex schematics containing analog and digital electronics
  • Experience with FPGAs, VHDL, microcontrollers, microprocessors and mixed-signal designs
  • Experience with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, Ethernet, etc)
  • Experience executing design reviews in front of interdisciplinary teams
  • Familiar with PCB layout design and best practices
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
