Senior Electrical Engineer, KGS, Kuiper Government Solutions

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to create a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities globally. As a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) team, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative satellite and ground system solutions for U.S. and allied government customers.

The role combines cutting-edge satellite technology with critical government applications, requiring expertise in electrical circuit design, including digital and analog power systems, RF communications, and space hardware development. You'll lead various aspects of hardware development, from schematic design and component selection to layout review and board testing.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex space technology while serving government needs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, interact directly with government customers, and lead small sub-teams of electrical engineers. The role requires strong technical expertise in electronic circuits, including Analog Power, Digital Design, Mixed-Signal ADC/DAC, Processors, FPGA, and more.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills. You'll need to be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and have experience in space/defense sectors.
