Senior Engineer, Japan Operations Engineering, JCFS

Amazon Japan is seeking a Senior Engineer for their JCFS (Operations Technology Headquarters) team to lead the design and development of material handling equipment in fulfillment centers. This position plays a crucial role in realizing Amazon's swift delivery capabilities through the development of material handling technology.

The role involves working on both existing and new fulfillment centers, focusing on equipment design and implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-efficiency material handling systems that align with Japan's operations' medium and long-term capacity plans. They will collaborate with global engineering teams to introduce cutting-edge processes and enhance next-generation fulfillment capabilities.

The position requires working with domestic and international partners to improve cost-efficiency, expand procurement capabilities, and enhance adaptability to changes. The engineer will propose and implement innovative ideas to improve existing capabilities while demonstrating leadership in multiple capacity increase projects.
