Description For Senior Hardware Dev Engineer, AWS Generative AI & ML Servers

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Hardware Dev Engineer to join their Accelerated Server Hardware Engineering team. This role focuses on designing and operating Amazon's fleet of Accelerated Servers using Internal Amazon design silicon or specialized purpose accelerators. The position involves working with cutting-edge server technology, managing relationships with third-party ODMs, and integrating components to produce high-quality designs for AWS customers.

The role requires deep expertise in server development, system design, and problem-solving. You'll be responsible for owning the design and operations of a new segment of servers for the AWS fleet, working closely with interdisciplinary teams including component, firmware, test, qualification, and integration engineers. The position offers exposure to internal and external AWS customers and the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging infrastructure problems at scale.

As part of the AWS Hardware Engineering organization, you'll collaborate with subject matter experts in core component development, compute server development, networking development, and custom hypervisor/virtualization development. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering work, requiring both depth in hardware engineering and breadth across system architecture.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $128,600 to $213,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll be joining a diverse team that values bold ideas and empowers engineers to own projects from conception to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced hardware engineers who want to impact cloud computing infrastructure at a global scale.
