Responsibilities For Senior Hardware Dev Engineer (POLAND), Ring PD team
- Generate concepts and mechanical designs of new products with ID team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Partner with PM teams on product requirements
- Manage and drive vendors for project finalization
- Generate functional prototypes
- Document ideas, issues, test results
- Develop documentation for vendors (CAD, detailed drawings, optical simulations)
Requirements For Senior Hardware Dev Engineer (POLAND), Ring PD team
- BS/MS in Mechanical/Optical Engineering
- Extensive industry design experience
- Experience in consumer electronics products development
- Experience with optical-related designs like camera lens implementation
- Experience with thermodynamics
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for metals and plastics
- Quick prototyping skills
- GD&T based on ISO or ASME standard
- Strong work ethic and good written/verbal communication skills
- Experienced CAD user (Creo/SolidWorks)
- Experienced PLM system user
- Good written and spoken English
