Senior Hardware Development Engineer, ESH - Edge and Specialized Hardware

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering team is at the forefront of creating cutting-edge compute, storage, accelerator, and enterprise servers that power Amazon's innovative web services. As a Server Hardware Engineer on the Edge and Specialized Hardware team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing next-generation servers that serve over a million AWS customers.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on industry-leading hardware solutions, combining deep technical expertise with strategic vision. You'll be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design to production and deployment at scale. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll tackle challenges across server/board design, thermal-mechanical systems, firmware/software integration, and manufacturing.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $128,600 to $213,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical coverage.
