This role offers a unique opportunity to join a cutting-edge team developing advanced antenna systems that will provide high-speed broadband to underserved communities worldwide.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovative satellite technology, working on sophisticated antenna systems and RF circuitry. The position demands expertise in both analog and digital design, with opportunities to lead the development of next-generation prototypes and automated test systems.

The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, including PCB layout review and test campaign management. You'll collaborate with RF teams and contribute to multiple aspects of antenna system development, from initial design to final implementation.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $128,600 to $213,600 based on location, plus comprehensive benefits. The role requires significant expertise in hardware development and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on global connectivity infrastructure.

Responsibilities For Senior HW Dev Engineer-Payload, Hardware Development

  • Design and optimization of different blocks of antennas system
  • Design the proof of concept systems and prototypes for next generation antennas
  • Design of RF circuitry in collaboration with RF team
  • Design of automated test systems, test fixtures and factory test
  • Bring-up and test campaigns of the active antennas
  • Lead and review PCB layout

Requirements For Senior HW Dev Engineer-Payload, Hardware Development

  • BS degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of industrial experience especially board level analog/digital design
  • 1+ years of experience in high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, signal and power integrity
  • 3+ years of experience in using schematic
  • 2+ years of experience using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout tools
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws
