Senior Maintenance Engineer (UAE National), Reliability Maintenance Engineering

The Facilities Coordinator at Amazon will have a significant impact on customer experience, leading and managing external contractors, handling emergencies, multiple projects, and daily activities while meeting tight deadlines. This role is responsible for developing plans to accomplish engineering departmental goals, leading the technical team in providing both reactive and proactive maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Fulfillment Center (FC).

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, supporting, and mentoring the team to ensure safe, standard, and efficient work practices
• Collaborating with the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions
• Maintaining Asset Performance Management (APM) metrics and improving all performance and compliance KPIs
• Supporting the Reliability Engineering Manager in implementing safety and statutory compliance programs
• Implementing network standards and focusing on preventative maintenance
• Organizing and directing the training program for the team
• Managing local projects and supporting MENA level projects
• Developing and implementing vendor annual maintenance contracts (AMCs)
• Managing a team of Maintenance Supervisors & Technicians
• Ensuring a safe working environment by applying Amazon's Safety Policy

The ideal candidate will have practical engineering experience, including a supervisory role, knowledge of automated equipment, and experience working with health & safety standards. They will be responsible for monitoring and responding to RME customer requests through a trouble ticketing system and ensuring quality service from annual maintenance contract vendors.

This role is part of the Site RME team, which manages all building engineering and facilities-related issues and projects, including soft services and technical services for both the base building and material handling equipment (MHE).
