Senior Network Development Engineer - Wireless Networks, Kuiper Enterprise Technology

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious low Earth orbit satellite broadband network initiative, designed to bring reliable internet connectivity to communities worldwide. The Enterprise Technology team is expanding its Network Development team, seeking skilled engineers to build and maintain critical wireless network infrastructure.

As a Network Development Engineer specializing in Wi-Fi networks, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless networks across Kuiper facilities. You'll work with cutting-edge wireless technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation initiatives to improve delivery efficiency while maintaining network reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and deploying high-performance wireless networks
• Optimizing access point placement and configuration
• Leading wireless network migrations between vendors
• Providing operational support and troubleshooting
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation
• Collaborating with various IT teams and stakeholders

The role offers competitive compensation ($143,200 - $247,600/year base salary) plus benefits and equity opportunities. You'll join a diverse team of systems engineers, software developers, and network experts working on mission-critical infrastructure.

This position requires US citizenship due to export control requirements and involves on-site work in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Everett WA, with travel to other Kuiper locations. You'll participate in an off-hours operations escalation rotation and work closely with research, development, production, and launch teams.
