AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect for AWS Partner Sales SA, you will help world-renowned systems integrators (SIs) and technology partners utilize cloud computing technologies. You'll be part of the customer success team establishing AWS as the leading cloud computing platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted advisor to managed systems integrators
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations to accelerate partner engagements worldwide
- Ensure customer and partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications to AWS
- Lead in-depth architectural discussions and design exercises
- Educate customers and partners on the value proposition of AWS
- Contribute to customer-facing publications like white papers and blogs
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and partners
- Share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering)
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, market segments, and industry verticals
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
