Senior Process Engineer, Innovation, Engineering & Sustainability

Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their Innovation & Engineering team. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge, process-centric, and sustainable infrastructure concepts for Middle Mile operations. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking material handling systems and processes, aiming to exceed industry standards in efficiency, waste reduction, and automation.

The role involves working with cross-functional teams across EMEA, designing Middle Mile Nodes using infrastructural models derived from analytical work. You'll be responsible for creating innovative solutions that optimize material handling equipment (MHE) and processes while maintaining design excellence. The position requires a strong process engineering mindset and operational understanding of Middle Mile or Last Mile operations.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll collaborate with EU and NA engineering teams, ACES, Operations, and internal SMEs. You'll be empowered to challenge the status quo and directly influence future infrastructure designs. The role involves extensive travel (up to 50%) throughout EMEA, offering exposure to diverse operations and cultures.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in designing innovative material handling systems, creating process-centric solutions, and working with automated systems. You'll be responsible for developing concepts that align with Amazon's True North processes, focusing on productivity and cost optimization.
