Senior Product Manager - Technical, Auto Scaling

The Auto Scaling team is seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative technical Senior Product Manager to define and deliver services that enable customers to build highly elastic and scalable applications in the cloud.

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and others to define and execute a high-impact roadmap of features and services.
• Enhance customers' ability to seamlessly scale their applications.
• Work backwards from the customer to understand their challenges and needs.
• Define the capabilities and experiences AWS will offer to make it easy for customers to operate at scale.
• Be responsible for product exploration and design.
• Work with a dedicated team of super talented engineers to build and launch these products.

Key job responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the product meets their needs.
• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Auto Scaling that aligns with overall business goals.
• Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer needs, market trends, and business impact.
• Work closely with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust the product strategy accordingly.
• Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the product and inform future decisions.

Compensation:

• Base pay ranges from $137,000/year to $236,800/year, depending on geographic market and job-related factors.
• Total compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation.
