Description For Senior Product Manager - Technical, AWS Lambda

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Seattle-based AWS Lambda service team. AWS Lambda is revolutionizing cloud computing, leading the "serverless" movement that enables both startups and enterprises to achieve unprecedented levels of agility, elasticity, and cost efficiency. This role is integral to the PM organization, responsible for managing the business model, P&L, feature development, and product roadmap.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll work closely with engineering, business development, and marketing teams to shape strategy and make critical decisions about feature prioritization and market timing. The role requires deep technical understanding and developer empathy, balanced with strategic business acumen. You'll be instrumental in defining the programming model, ensuring scalability, and creating an exceptional developer experience.

  • Author documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications
  • Drive product development across teams through business requirements, design, implementation, and deployment

Requirements For Senior Product Manager - Technical, AWS Lambda

  • Experience in technical product management with internet business
  • Experience working as a Technical Product Manager
  • Experience in a technical field (software development, network development, IT)
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and software development life cycle
  • Experience with agile methodologies
