Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Shipping Technology organization. This role focuses on architecting and developing technical solutions for complex business challenges. Responsibilities For Senior Software Development Engineer, Connectivity and Integrations

  • Advise Software Development Managers, Sr. Software Managers, Product Managers on product architecture
  • Provide architectural and technical vision for the Product / Service
  • Lead the team technically towards the vision
  • Evaluate technical choices and make trade-offs between short term needs and long term requirements
  • Mentor team members and maintain high standards through reviews
  • Develop complex pieces of the architecture
  • Write exemplary code that raises the bar on coding standards and best practices

Requirements For Senior Software Development Engineer, Connectivity and Integrations

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Experience in building scalable and extensible web services
  • Knowledge of AWS / cloud technologies
  • Understanding of Machine learning techniques
