This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, focusing on helping Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a trusted customer advocate who helps organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and migration strategies. You'll work at the intersection of technology and business, requiring both deep technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. The role demands expertise in cloud computing, security best practices, and government-specific requirements including ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
As a Solutions Architect, you'll be part of AWS's mission to establish itself as a leading technology platform within the Intelligence Community. You'll collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth while ensuring technical excellence in solution design and implementation. Responsibilities For Senior Solutions Architect, National Security Solutions Architecture Team
- Partner with sales team to execute strategy and exceed revenue objectives
- Ensure success in building and migrating applications to AWS platform
- Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in architectural discussions
- Conduct training sessions for customers
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge
- Contribute to customer-facing publications and whitepapers
- Build relationships with technical leaders within customer organizations
- Act as technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
Requirements For Senior Solutions Architect, National Security Solutions Architecture Team
- 8+ years of experience in technology domains (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating technical solutions to diverse stakeholders
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience defining technical solutions to meet business objectives
