Senior Solutions Engineer

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Worldwide Solutions Engineering team. This role represents a unique opportunity to drive innovation in Amazon's delivery network, focusing on making package delivery faster, safer, and more cost-effective. The position involves overseeing North America Process Engineering with a particular emphasis on Final Mile operations.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engineering expertise, requiring the successful candidate to manage large-scale projects across North America. You'll work directly with Delivery Station operational leaders to implement process improvements and standardization throughout the network. The position demands strong technical knowledge in material handling equipment, data analysis, and lean methodologies.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for optimizing facility and field engineering processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving innovation within the Engineering Organization. The role involves collaboration with various teams including Planning, Launch, Procurement, Finance, HR, and external partners. You'll also work closely with Tech/Software teams to implement operational improvements.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of project management experience, a bachelor's degree in a STEM field, and strong analytical skills. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $107,600 to $177,900 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical coverage. The role requires up to 10% regional travel and is based across multiple locations including Bellevue, Austin, Nashville, and New York City.
