Senior Structural Engineer, TIPM, Global Realty Building Design & Engineering

Amazon is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join as Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) for their Global Realty Building Design & Engineering team. This strategic role involves leading design, facility, and engineering activities across Amazon's Fulfillment Network in EMEA, based in Luxembourg or Madrid. The position reports to the Head of Global Building Design & Engineering and focuses on optimizing facility safety and efficiency.

The role combines technical expertise with program management, requiring deep knowledge of structural engineering across timber, metal, and concrete structures. The successful candidate will drive structural engineering programs, manage fire protection design specifications, and work with various teams including Sustainability, Preconstruction, and Construction.

Key responsibilities include leading structural design initiatives across EMEA, tracking performance metrics, providing expert consultation, developing business cases, and staying current with industry trends. The position requires a strong educational background in Structural Engineering, significant technical experience, and excellent project management skills.

The ideal candidate will bring experience with BIM/3D modeling tools, AutoCAD, and related software. Additional valuable skills include experience with construction contracts, cost management, and multiple European languages.
