Senior System Development Engineer, Open Data Analytics Fundamentals team

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a Senior System Development Engineer for their Open Data Analytics (ODA) Fundamentals team. This role focuses on leading EMR/Athena release processes and improving the efficiency, security, and stability of AWS's big data processing platform. You'll work with services like Amazon EMR, the industry-leading cloud big data platform, and Amazon Athena, a serverless query service.

As a Senior SysDE, you'll be responsible for integrating and packaging the latest features from the ODA organization, delivering robust analytics products to customers, and shaping the strategic direction of ODA services. You'll oversee testing infrastructure, work with DevOps teams, and drive the SDLC from concept to launch.
