Responsibilities For Senior Systems Engineer/Architect, Amazon Robotics

  • Define and explore design space for complex robotics and automation problems
  • Identify and analyze cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives
  • Break down problems using con-ops, use cases, and structural/functional decompositions
  • Build quantitative models and analyses using Excel, MATLAB, Python
  • Perform technical risk assessments
  • Develop system integration and evaluation strategies
  • Drive and prioritize execution of system test campaigns
  • Mentor junior engineers

Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer/Architect, Amazon Robotics

Python
  • BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience with eliciting and clarifying business and end user needs
  • Experience leading technical collaborations across diverse groups
  • Experience identifying and analyzing dependencies, tradeoffs, and sensitivities across multi-disciplinary systems
