You'll be responsible for developing maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with local codes and global standards, and partnering with Risk Management to align with insurance requirements.

As a Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, you'll work on critical projects that directly impact Amazon's operational infrastructure. You'll use your expertise to perform detailed calculations, inspect installations, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role involves significant collaboration with various departments, including Operations, Construction, Internal Audit, and Real Estate.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading the development of electrical system maintenance programs and policies
  • Providing technical expertise for complex electrical design and retrofits
  • Managing and auditing global electrical system maintenance practices
  • Supporting new operations locations with training and program implementation
  • On-call support 4-5 times per year for network emergency electrical needs

Responsibilities For Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager - Electrical Engineering

  • Develop programs, projects, and network initiatives using electrical distribution expertise
  • Provide subject matter expertise in electrical distribution
  • Support annual budgeting cycles and planning
  • Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems
  • Partner with Risk Management and stakeholders in electrical system maintenance programs
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
  • Inspect installations and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
  • Support operations with product development and testing
  • Audit electrical system maintenance practices globally
  • Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports
  • Support training and start-up of electrical system maintenance programs
  • Develop and improve installation, commissioning, and inspection processes
  • On Call support 4-5 times per year providing 24x7 support

Requirements For Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager - Electrical Engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Experience using electrical engineering software
  • Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
  • Experience in Operational Maintenance role(s)
  • Experience managing electrical specific programs at scale
  • Written and verbal communication skills
