Description For Signal Integrity Engineer

Amazon Lab126, established in 2004 as an Amazon.com subsidiary, is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join their innovative hardware development team. This role is crucial in the development of popular consumer devices like Kindle, Echo, and Fire TV. As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you'll be part of the Validation team exploring new hardware designs to enhance device performance.

The position requires expertise in signal integrity aspects, compliance, and interoperability of package substrate, PCB, and cable solutions. You'll work with system-level SI for interfaces including PCIe, DDR, and Clocks, while contributing to package and platform design guidelines. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of ASIC/SoC validation experience and strong simulation tool proficiency.

Responsibilities For Signal Integrity Engineer

  • Signal Integrity aspects, compliance, and interoperability of package substrate
  • PCB, Cable solutions and system-level SI for interfaces like PCIe, DDR, Clocks
  • Contributing to package and platform design guideline development

Requirements For Signal Integrity Engineer

  • Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering/Computer Science
  • 3+ years in working on validation of ASIC/SoC products
  • Knowledge of high speed serial interface analog building blocks, protocol, specifications and test methods
  • Familiarity with Simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, PowerSI, PowerDC, Hyperlynx)
  • Experience with performing measurement and correlating measurements to simulations
  • Experience with modeling and simulation of high-speed interface interconnects/channel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
