Simulation Engineer, Innovation and Design Engineering

Amazon's Worldwide Innovation and Design team is seeking a Simulation Engineer to spearhead discrete-event simulations for their Last Mile (AMZL) network technologies. As a Simulation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of validating new technologies early in their development cycle, focusing on process simulations to understand throughput requirements, bottlenecks, and operator-machine interactions. You'll leverage advanced simulation software like FlexSim and Emulate 3D, combining technical expertise with programming skills to create sophisticated digital experiments that optimize processes and influence mechanical designs for robotics, AGVs, conveyors, and storage systems.

Working within the System Integration & Performance team, you'll collaborate with experts in Data Analytics, Physical Validation, and Integration. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $136,000 to $212,800 per year, depending on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, financial benefits, and equity compensation.
