Software Dev Engineer, EC2 VPC

Amazon's EC2 VPC Dataplane team is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help shape the future of virtualized (SDN) networking in one of the world's largest public clouds. This role focuses on developing and enhancing the packet pipeline that powers customer's EC2 VPC instances across more than 30 global regions. The team's networking stack handles every packet across Amazon's worldwide fleet, serving critical applications in E-Commerce, Finance, Healthcare, and more.

As a Software Engineer on the team, you'll work on embedded systems development, cloud computing, and networking technologies. You'll have the opportunity to innovate across various platforms while working alongside Principal, Senior Principal, and Distinguished Engineers. The role offers extensive growth potential through hands-on development of critical infrastructure components.

The position involves designing secure and scalable services, building next-generation validation platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
