Software Dev Engineer II, AR HW Service (Fleet Management)

The Software Dev Engineer II, AR HW Service (Fleet Management) will work closely with applied scientists to build infrastructure for managing deep learning models. This role involves training and fine-tuning models and deploying them to edge devices.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing scalable solutions for the world's largest robotic and safety systems fleets.
2. Creating high-performing, scalable solutions that meet Amazon's availability expectations.
3. Championing automation and generating efficiencies in execution.
4. End-to-end ownership of scoping, design, development, test, and deployment of features across global regions.
5. Collaborating with a talented team of software development engineers and applied scientists.
6. Building and owning software related to maintaining the world's largest fleets of robotic and safety system hardware.
7. Developing continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions for robotic telemetry.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience architecting and developing in the AWS cloud
• Familiarity with Deep Learning models for perception
• Experience building data pipelines and infrastructure for ML systems
