Software Dev Engineer II, AWS Cloud Operations

AWS Systems Manager (SSM) is seeking a Software Developer to join their team in building intelligent tools for managing operations at scale. The role involves working on a collection of tools that provide customer visibility into operational health and control of infrastructure on AWS. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining system architecture and implementing specific components and features to solve customer problems
• Building highly available, secure, scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems
• Contributing to planning, architecture design, implementation, testing, process improvement, and production support
• Creating clear, maintainable, well-documented code that meets coding standards and best practices
• Sharing knowledge and learning to build a strong collaborative and inclusive team

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $129,300 to $223,600 per year, depending on the geographic market and other factors. The company also provides equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
